Sean Hogan was named to the position of head hockey coach of the University of Arizona's ACHA hockey program on July 18th, 2011.
Most recently Hogan was an assistant coach and Director of Video Operations for the Western Michigan University Bronco hockey team of the CCHA in 2010-2011. While there Hogan was part of a staff that lead the Bronco's to the CCHA Finals and WMU's first birth in the NCAA National Tournament since 1986.
Previously, Hogan was the head coach of the Yellowstone Quake Junior A team in the Northern Pacific Hockey League in 2009-2010, leading the team to a 34-14-0 record and an America West Divisional Playoff finalist. Prior to his time in Wyoming he was the head coach of Oakland University Men's ACHA hockey team from 2005-2009, winning an ACHA National Championship in 2007 and an ACHA Division II National Championship in 2006.

From 2007-2009 he was also the Director of the Rochester Hockey Club as well as the coaching director of one of Michigan's largest hockey associations. He also spent time as a director with Suburban Hockey Schools, Michigan's longest running hockey school. 

Hogan played for Iona College from 1996-98 and was named Iona College Rookie of the Year for the 1996-97 season.

Originally from White Lake, Mich., Hogan, 33 (6/25/1978), graduated from Michigan State University in 2001 with a degree in public policy and public administration. He resides in Tucson.
