Assistant Coach Chris Moulton
grew up in Northern California and got his start playing hockey with the Oakland Bears minor program. After spending his first two years of college at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Moulton transferred back to Cal and played three seasons as a Golden Bear. As a wing on the team’s top line he recorded three consecutive 50+ point seasons; a 25 goal goal-scorer in each. In the 2003-2004 Pac10 Championship Playoffs Moulton scored a tournament leading 4 goals, with 2 in the Bears 3-2 win of the championship game. The following season, he was honored with a PAC10 Honorable Mention Award as one of the league’s outstanding forwards. Last year’s 2007-2008 season was Moulton’s first as assistant coach for the Golden Bears. He continues to work on the development of a young Bears team to lead them back to the playoffs.
