Coach Seymour resides in Clinton, NY with his wife Heather, and their son's Daniel and Evan. Coach Seymour took over the Hawks hockey program in July of 2003. The team has made its first two NJCAA National Tournament appearances under Coach Seymour. Including the 2008-2009 team that made a run all the way to the NJCAA National Semi-Final. His coaching record is now 59-87-9. Coach Seymour has twice been named the Second Team Coach of the Year by his fellow NJCAA coaches.

Coach is a 1996 graduate of Clinton Central Schools and was a member of the 1996 State Championship Team that went 22–2. While in high school Coach was a two time section all–star. Upon graduation Coach attended Mohawk Valley Community College. While at MVCC Coach was a team captain, named to the all-region team, and was named MVCC Alumni Award winner following the 1997-1998 season. Coach then earned his bachelor’s degree in Business/Public Management from SUNY Institute of Technology. While working on his bachelor’s degree Coach was an unpaid assistant coach for three seasons. The 2000–2001 season he was with Rome Youth Hockey. The following two seasons were with Whitesboro High School, the 2001–2002 and 2002–2003 seasons. The 2002–2003 team won the New York State Championship. Coach realizes the importance of academics and demands a strong work ethic on the ice and in the class room. He hopes to have all members enjoy the season and better themselves as players and individuals.
