Discuss the past season and the future, vote on rule changes for the ACHA, network with other coaches, discuss ideas for the betterment of the ACHA, vote for next year's national tournament location, and more. We also participate in the AHCA conference which all of the Head Coaches of the ACHA teams are members of and are welcome to participate in.
Who Should Attend:
Ideally we would like at least one representative from each ACHA team to attend the ACHA meetings, though more are welcome. However, only the head coaches and the other coaches who have joined the AHCA are able to attend the AHCA conference.
To your Divisional Vice-President by Friday, April 1, 2011. If you do not RSVP by this date, you and your program will be not be allowed to vote at the Annual Meeting, regardless of whether or not you show up at the Annual Meeting. Only team officials designated on a team roster during the 2011-2012 season will be allowed voting privileges for that specific school. [RSVP LIST]
Due to the Secretary, Jim Martin (Jmartin2112@gmail.com)via email by Monday, February 15, 2011. All details of your proposal, including the wording of any proposed bylaw or manual change should be noted, as well as any documentation you wish to distribute to the membership (ie .doc, .pdf, or .xls files) otherwise it may be stricken from the Agenda. Please see Section 2 of the Article XVII Meetings of the current ACHA Manual for details.
Will be allowed to 1 person per 1 school team. Schools with multiple teams will only be allowed 1 vote per person in attendance (ie. if you you have a M2 and M3, you would need to bring 2 persons to the meeting to be allowed 2 votes. If only 1 person comes, they would only be able to represent 1 of the teams). Only team officials designated on a team roster during the 2009-2010 season will be allowed voting privileges for that specific school. Any discrepancies will be evaluated by the ACHA Board of Directors.
The cost is $75 per representative. The ACHA will cover the $75 fee for one (1) representative per school (for all school in good standing for the 2010-2011 season). All other team representatives (including new ACHA teams for the 2011-2012 season) will be required to pay the $75 convention fee. (ie. if you were an ACHA school in 2010-2011 and bring 3 people to the meetings, your school will owe $150)
