ACHA Announces 2014 Hall of Fame Class



Zoe Harris  (Builder, Women’s Division)  Zoe was instrumental in pioneering the birth of the Women’s Division in the year 2000. She served as Co-Vice President of the division and worked tirelessly recruiting the first women’s teams into the division. She established a set of rules and regulations for the new division that were eventually incorporated into the ACHA Policies and Procedures Manual. Zoe was also instrumental in the appointment of the first women’s commissioner. The inaugural Women’s Division (2000-01) was composed of 12 teams. All of these efforts were accomplished as Zoe was coaching the ACHA Men’s Division II team at the University of Washington.
Adam Thomas (Player, Men’s Division II) Adam played five years at Davenport University. During his playing years he amassed 339 points. Adam’s many accolades include ACHA DII All American (twice), ACHA DII Player of the Year, 1st Team All Region (three times), Central Region MVP, 1st  Team DII All Tournament in 2008 and ACHA DII National Tournament MVP in 2010. Adam played a key role in Davenport’s three ACHA DII National Championships. Adam was a three time Academic All American. He graduated with a degree in Marketing while maintaining a 3.4 GPA
William (BJ) DePaoli  (Player, Men’s Division III) William played his hockey at California University of Pennsylvania from 2004-2009. He captained the 2008 National Championship team. While at Cal U Pa. he set no less that 12 club records many of which still stand today. He accumulated 348 points in his five playing years. Among his many accolades were ACHA DIII Player of the Year in 2008, Atlantic Region Player of the Year (twice), ACHA All American 1st team (twice), All Atlantic Region 1st team (three times), and ACHA  National Tournament 1st Team in 2008. BJ was a three time Academic All American. William graduated with a degree in Political Science while maintaining a 3.6 GPA
The class will be inducted into the ACHA Hall of Fame on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the ACHA Annual Meeting in Naples Florida.
